Ecuadorean American Association welcomes members, private and public sector leaders to dialogue about Ecuador’s trade and what is ahead for the country.
At only forty-four years of age,Mr. Campana is a well respected businessman from Quito, holding a bachelors degree in comercial engineering from Pacific University and a MBA from the Institute of Management Development (IDE).
With extensive experience in the business sector he has held different positions: CEO at Campana & Partners Organization; CEO at Pronobus S.A; Real Estate Director of the NOBIS Consortium; General Manager of Duncan, Equilisa, Braslav, Pro Espacios (Nobis-Noboa Consortium); Director of Nobis Financial Committee; Project Manager at Pronobis S.A.; and Executive Chairman of Nobis Enterprises New York-Miami. He has also served as the head of the Ecuadorean Bottling Company EBC (Coca Cola) and the Valdez Sugar Company (cattle, bamboo cane, cocoa).
From this sector he has contributed to the development of the country by being the precursor of ProponLe, an initiative focused on the construction of creative spaces and the development of ideas from entrepreneurs, business representatives and the public sector, in order to promote jobs with trust and synergy.
In addition to his career in the private sector, he is remembered as an outstanding athlete who marked an era in Ecuadorean tennis. In the 1990s he was a Davis Cup player, representing the country at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, being named as the best Ecuadorean tennis player. He recently represented the Athletes in the Ecuadorean Olympic Committee (COE). The Foreign Trade Minister is married and has four children.
